Is it Illegal to Forage? / Should My Mom Vlog? Garden Answer Alba: Hi Laura. Just want to say thank you! You have really inspired me. I was completely intimidated by both indoor and outdoor plants for many many years after I was unable to keep bamboo alive But after watching you and seeing your love for gardening and how passionate you are about every flower you plant, I took the leap and put some bulbs in the ground and in containers and I'm hoping for the best! I also startrd visiting my local garden store and learning more about different types of shrubs and even purchased a few. I have discovered that I really like plants and flowers and taking care of them is something I truly, truly enjoy. Thank you for all you do.

I used to love gardening and then I was injured and unable to bend and move very well. I went to a personal trainer and tried just about everything to get back to a point where I could do at least simple tasks. We bought a house last year that has a lovely garden and I fell in love with it. knowing in my heart that I wouldn't be able to do what I wanted with planting. Well. fast forward to finding you guys! I watched a few videos and decided what the heck - I am going to go give this a try and while I am struggling with pain, I am doing it! I am so inspired by your gardens and your family! Thank you thank you thank you!

You should check out Xtratuf's website. When I lived in Alaska everybody and their mother swore by XtraTufs. They have tons of fun prints, their shoes are really heckin' sturdy, and they come in Vans-like styles. Lots of low-profile/deck shoe styles. I think for all the use you'd get out of them, they would be a good investment for you. Or at least something to try. Plus, ya know, they're meant for super outdoorsy types.

Laura, just hearing you talk about your parent's garden did my heart good. We just moved to new home and the backyard is just grass and a couple of small crape myrtles. I can't wait to make the yard our own. We learned quite a bit gardening at old home and have learned a lot from you and Aaron at Garden Answer. We may even tackle putting in our own drip tubing instead of paying someone to do it. Thank you!

I love, love, love the videos when you and your mom get together and go over ideas, make plans for decorating, or especially this video where you both had some quality time together gathering pine branches and other dried plans that will help with both your Christmas arrangements. Would love to see more of mother and daughter moments, they are so special. in my opinion.

I think your mom's experience in floral design, landscaping, operating a business, would bring a wide audience and have much to offer if she did a vlog. I am a floral designer and a decorator, and thought about it also. It takes time and dedication. I think you would be helpful as you and your husband have been through the vlog trenches yourselves.

Talked about too early? I have a neighbor who had a hair saloon in her home and you could see her Christmas tree in the early part of Oct. I thought she put it up early for her customers. But she retired last year and sure enough her tree went up in Oct. again this year. Guess she really likes Christmas.

I look forward to watching you every day. you are contagious! I have learned so much. After watching your video where you made the square wreath, I jumped in the car and gathered branches to make it right away. My husband sawed them to equal lengths and voila! I am so proud of myself at 71!

Im trying to get more into gardening. the problem is, my yard is right next to the woods and a large lagoon, and living in the low country (8b SC) means that I could run into snakes. Anything youd recommend or any advice for working around snakes/protective gear etc? Thank you!

Thank you so much for posting the temperatures in degrees Celsius! I live in a small rural community in England, UK and I love your videos but especially at this time of year when Gardeners' World is not showing on tv! I just wish I could take part in all the giveaways.
