Growing Sprouts for a Thanksgiving Turkey Burger! Garden Answer Vlrissolo: SPENDING AGAIN? Immediately I see a special tray to grow sprouts. that's as far as I could go. I thought gardening was hobby BUT ALSO a way to save! live off the land! WAY too many purchases for us normal income folk. I JUST saw a program on BRIT BOX where I learned to seed, propagate, make mulch, and much more to come. LAURA don't forget your audience. We use shovels, not $100 plus augers. We don't have a stash of 50 DeWalt battery packs. We use LED's on a table, not cold frames and certainly not Hartlys (whatever the purpose of that extremely expensive building is, I still don't know. Most of us love to learn from you, not watch you plant Proven Winners. Anyone can plant purchased plants. I'm now trying to save seeds of my favorite things for next year. Get us back to learning, not spending on 15 types of fertilizer and what ever happened to the making your own mulch? It's far cheaper to go to the farmers market than purchasing everything from bags and bags of products, specialty tools, potted plants, trees, statues, fountains, moving hardwired lighting, antiques, ponds, SIDEWALKS, etc. I know if I had the money I MIGHT do some of this, but it is now simple not really attractive to an average gardening. Teach us again.

These burgers look so good I will shop for the ingredients this grocery trip! I love your videos because I have learned things already and I like your sweet personality. I have never had a roaster like that, just the old fashioned b&w speckled enamel kind which did ok but no way to life out the turkey or roast and take a bit of soaking to clean. P. S. I am painting my living room Thunder gray with the help of my daughter. I am 72 (lol.

We finally made the Turkey Burgers tonight and they were so delicious! I kinda thought my husband might think they weren't going to be good, mainly because of the sprouts, but he said they were a winner! We did the Chicken Tortilla Soup last week, soooo good! Thank you Laura and Aaron and Merry Christmas to you and Benjamin! Oh, and I also got my Wreath Hoodie in time for Christmas!

These are the most beautiful set of pans and roaster I have ever seen. I love the handles on the set also. My roaster gave up the ghost recently and I was going to buy a new one but if I could win these, my Thanksgiving would be perfect. Great product!

If you want to fry onions but do NOT want them to brown/caramelise add salt to them in the pan, if you WANT the onion to brown DO NOT add any salt. Salt draws something out of the onions that prevents them from browning.

I followed the instruction to make these burgers. They turned out mushy. I would probably skip the water next time when preparing the stuffing. Otherwise, it is pretty good.
Thank you for sharing the recipe.

When I make meatballs, meatloaf, or in this case burgers, I put a medical type rubber glove over the mixing hand. Then just roll it off, and toss into the trash. No yuck under nails, between fingers, etc.

I love it when you cook. Your recipes are so tasty. I tried the ground turkey and squash recipe with the kidney and garbonzo beans. Loved it, although I didn't love peeling the butternut squash!
