I was thinking about your bench and I dont know how well this would work on wood but I have used pH decrease on hard water stains on glass. You just wipe or spray it on. Let it sit for a minute and then wipe it off with a wet rag. It works wonders and a little goes a long way. You can find it at the pet store in the aquarium section! Hope it helps!

Super idea with the moss and pine cones. Laura our water is so hard here in south Texas that sprinkler on the end of a hose if left for too many days will never come off. The only way to get them off is to cut the end of the hose and then repair it. Of course the sprinkler has to be tossed too. Have a great Thanksgiving!

Regarding the hard water - do you have a treatment system for the water you use in the house? My water is hard, but not anywhere near as hard as yours. I have to add Calgon when i do laundry. Would it cost prohibitive to treat all the water you use in the landscaping? Or would that not be good for the plants?

Love the moss. makes me want to pet it! Also love the subtlety of the pale orange winter berries. Two questions: is the moss harvested responsibly? I would hate to think a habitat was being disrupted if I bought some. Also, where did you source the winter berries? I assume they were not home grown.

Thank you so much Laura for putting out videos that make me feel relaxed and happy. I have over 22 people coming for Thanksgiving dinner, but I'm sitting in my room watching your video because if I didn't take this break, I would go crazy. Thank you and happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

Zone Question. I noticed USDA actually shows Eastern OR as a zone 6/7 but you refer to it being zone 5. Is that because it gets as cold as zone 5 at its coldest? I live in Western Idaho so was curious. we report as a zone 7, but that doesnt seem right. zone 7 plants die in the winter.

Question: is that bench metal? I have a wood bench I was thinking to spray paint; can you spray rustoleum on a wood bench? Love your creative ideas. I love cast stone/cement planters, but only have one because they are sooo expensive. How do you afford so many?
