Hi Laura and your sister and gorgeous Mum. Wow the power of family is just gorgeous. I love that your parents have Benjamin and then you help out with their garden centre. For me this is so lovely to see. Life is all about give and take and being kind and the thoughtful. You all have an abundance of love and kindness towards one another. I loved this video and as always I learnt a lot. Family is what life is all about. You're Mums gorgeous soul just shines so brightly to me. Laura you looked so happy and healthy red cheeks. Your mom is always so smiling and happy seeming. I love that about her. Also, I noticed some elevator legs in the background. Was Andrews Seed a full fledged seed company that morphed into a garden center? Just curious. I recognize them because my family refurbishes grain handling equipment and my brothers go all over the country and our equipment ends up all over the world and its super exciting to see other people kind of involved in the same industry. Anyway I love your videos and love your whole family!

So funny you said if you need a workout, get a job at a garden center, that's exactly what I did after working at a desk for 12yrs, and weight gain of about 50lbs. Started in April working about 4 days a wk, occasionally 5 days, now here it is 3 months later I'm down to 3 days a week, and 20 + lbs less, and much better muscle tone. I am in much better shape physically & mentally, it's amazing what great therapy gardening is, I am a living testimony to that fact.

Laura, loved spending time with you, your mom, and your sister, it reminds me of my time with my 2 daughters when were together. OMG. I love seeing all the pots, fountains and dog statues. I loved the greyhound statue, I lave one I bought at Home Goods a couple of years ago but they are the hollow ones inside. I am looking for a solid one to put in my garden. Thank you for letting us be part of your day at the garden center with mom and sister.

Oh I REALLY enjoyed this video, you all get on so well, it was wonderful to see and thank you Monica and Mom for letting Laura film you. I have NEVER seen such beautiful pots and plants in the garden centres/nurseries over here in England. I WISH I could walk through those doors (and we don't get proven winners over here either)

I am fairly new to Garden Answer (thanks to my daughter, so I am just watching some of the older videos, but I just LOVE the idea of the hooks to hold up the plants in the wind! I live in North Dakota, where 20mph wind is just a little breezy, so I may look into having some of these made, also! You should think of marketing them!

This was fun. So often I show up and everything is already set up but it's fun to see the process of 'areas' that are set up based on a theme or colour. I can see that trees and evergreens are important elements to include which is a good tip for new gardeners (create the bones and winter interest with structures etc)

this was a very enjoyable video i loved it wish i lived closer so I could help out btw did you make it home with a purple pot? i think the largest one is stunning such an awesome nursery! how many big pots are downtown love to watch you both in action the gold pot would be a MUST along with the purple

It is one of those weirdo things lmao. Laura! Those mythical creatures are neat. Not offended but laughed so hard since I thought those were so cool and you said that. It would be cool to see a mythical garden type or more fantasy. If I had the money, I would do a weirdo garden. :)
