Potting Succulent Cuttings & Organizing the Studio/Barn! Garden Answer Rael: Laura have you thought about having a comfy chair in the studio to sit back in to do the recap videos? It was also help to have an upholstered piece to help the echoes. I love watching the recap, you give us great tips, and insight to your thought process.
Having a great workspace for filming is going to take some of struggled out of your work for sure. I can relate, working from home since March, I do miss my proper office, but I have reorganized my home office to function as a full time office. Making any system or space efficient is a calming aspect of my life.

I think the whole wall filled with low shelving would look great under the windows. You could have a solid top so as to display plants or it can be used as work surfaces as well. In between each window you could put up some garden art or sculptures or wreaths you make etc etc etc. I agree the large storage grow light systems did not look good in between the windows. Starting to take shape now. Hope you have a healthy last month of your pregnancy. Merry Christmas to bothnof you and a very happy New Year with your new baby girl.

Your space is coming out awesome, please think about putting a smoke detectors around, thinking of where the cat beds are, my mother had a similar bed for her outdoor cat under the overhang in front of the house, somehow it caused a fire, thankfully the outside of the home was stone and only the beds and window frame on the house were damaged. Thank you for being such a wonderful person, you Aaron and Benjamin are beautiful people. Have a safe and happy new year

HI, love what you have done in the Barn/Studio. A little off topic, I would love for you to do a video on labeling plants, from seed through to planting and then storage. What hasn't worked for you and what has, your preference etc. I noticed in this video you had labels sticking out of the bulb pots in front of the cold frame, what do you use to keep the writing on the label for the winter? mine all seems to fade winter or summer!

I have to admit that I am guilty of sharing your succulent videos with allot of people that are looking for more formal ways to look outside the box for ways to display their succulents and are shying away due to lack of information. It is bring you more fame I think because on one of the pages I am on. I noticed someone I share a video with a month ago shared that same video with someone else. Thank you for all you do!

I was feeling overwhelmed with the amount of stuff I have to go through and organize before putting my Christmas decorations. But I watched your video first and saw that you guys have so much more stuff than I do and I feel much less overwhelmed. LOL. I'm in a huge throw it or give it away mood, it feels good to just get it off the property. Take care while you wait for baby time.

Ummm. sorry Laura, I'm such a mom. Could you please check the drawer 2nd from the bottom on the right hand side of the storage table, I'm thinking that's the last place I saw your wood burning set. you we're looking for it to make the birch round ornaments for the natural tree. Lol. I've been watching the seasons on the playlists and it was just stuck in my head.

Im just wondering how much you spend on all of these supplies. The bags of soil get expensive, and pots can get expensive also. Buying new plants also gets expensive, let alone the light shelving system. Im trying to get leaves and cuttings going, but it takes a while. I went to a nice store yesterday that has beautiful hand painted pots but they were too expensive.

Good Morning how I want to get out into my sheds to tidy them up. I have no idea what's in them. It's so soothing seeing your barn so clean neat & tidy. You certainly are nesting before welcoming baby girl. I love the heated cat baskets. Mine just have a insulated dog kennel. My neighbours cat uses it frequently which is lovely. Happy new year x

After watching you pot these succulents up, I realized that this new area has no inside water source for watering your plants. You are going to need a small sink for getting water and washing up your pots, trays and your hands. It's best to do that now. It seems that the wall where the heater/AC is would be the best area for it.
