Transplanting 14 Boxwoods!
video description
Our quandary is how the heck does your stuff grow so much better than ours? So I'm curious: how many hours of sun does your garden get per day? And how many days of the week are sunny?
I can amend my soil, I can adjust my water, but one thing I can't control is sunlight, and in New England we don't get much of it.
Thanks for all you do!

Laura makes a casual reference to the glorious Hartley while many serious gardeners such as myself can only dream of owning a beautiful, stylish, high quality greenhouse. I love these videos and Laura's information and delivery style, but much of it is out of reach for the average gardener. Nonetheless, we can all work hard and create the best gardens for our situations, partially inspired by Laura, Proven Winners, Epsoma, Hartley Botanic, et al. Happy gardening, everyone!

Great video! I love seeing all of the projects you guys are working on throughout the year and the seasonal arrangements you put together. I'd be interested in seeing your fall cleanup routine / winter prep around the gardens. When you're ready to make a change do you throw flowers out or compost them even though they may still look decent in the pot?

Just wondering why NOT move those large pots now to create a barricade? Why not use them to create that curved lane to the left? It would be a cheap remedy and help with lessening the confusion for winter delivery guys> also are there still bulbs in those containers? I have not seen you plant any Grape Hyacinths - wouldn't those look beautiful too. ..

Laura, could you somehow use the extra fence line pots to delineate the new property driveway? I love the boxwoods in those pots. A formal touch on both sides of your house. Love watching the progression of your garden. Always shifting and changing. I'm not afraid of transplanting because of watching you do it. Forever grateful for Garden Answer.

I found your videos last year and love them all, my garden has been transformed over the last year. I have stopped doing some bad habits like cutting everything back in the winter, now I just letting them grow (winter interest) and tidy in spring, really had a beautiful garden this spring and cant wait for next year. you are a true inspiration.

My at last roses arrived 3wks ago. a bit battered, a few limbs broken and a few browning leaves. No big deal I trimmed the broken limbs, but the browning leaves have gotten worse(even though new green growth is all over them) do you think its fungus? If so what do I use for that? Tia! Im a first timer with roses: )

I had a large container of Supertunias this year that was doing great up until a heavy rainstorm in late July that took off most of the blooms. It stayed green the rest of the summer but never bloomed again. What causes them to stop blooming? I'm in MA.

I think you have a new little camera man. Benjamin is so cute helping you out and making sure the camera is facing the pot correctly. BTW, I think we all would love to be there to see all your projects in the finish form. Lol!
