Back in the day many would just walk along the roads this time of year and harvest asparagus. With more traffic and development, I now only see a few doing so in the more rural areas. And I only see individual gatherers where it was a group event in the past. I liked how you showed the crown planting method and how you can overlay the roots. I tend to think of asparagus as a system or patch. liked!

So in NC while we have about 6 inches of snow 1/16/18 and you and Aaron are spending time with your new precious baby boy. I'm catching up on your videos which I LOVE! I discovered your videos last winter! So professional and informative. Was there an update on the asparagus or a picture? I didn't see an update video. I may try to plant some this spring: )

Hi guys! Thanks again for all of your helpful videos! This is my first time EVER growing food so I'm reviewing all of the things. with that said, is this the only asparagus video? Were they ever transplanted? I cannot seem to find anything from you other than small discussions in other videos.

We lost two out of our three asparagus beds last year! We had no snow all winter long and very little rain. The crowns dried up. Had to dig them all out and start from scratch.

I'm so scared to plant asparagus again! It completely took over my veggie bed at our last house, and took two hours to remove it. Those roots are crazy strong!

I planted asparagus, but made the mistake of putting them besides my tomatoes and their roots tangled with my tomatoes! This makes me want to plant them again
