Planting 5 Varieties of Echinacea - They LOVE the Heat! Garden Answer I love echinacea! I do not deadhead because the finches love the seeds and i enjoy seeing them forage, jumping from flower to flower. I also get clouds of bluebirds on the elderberries. Warms my heart. I must say i watch your videos as soon as i wake up every day. Thank you Laura, i learn much from you.

Love all the Echinacea you are planting but I have one question? How do you keep them from reseeding themselves everywhere? I have some and love them but they seed themselves all over my garden and they are hard to control especially if I leave the seed heads on for winter interest and animal forage! Thanks for all your great inspiration!

Hardy zone 6 magnolia trees include Star magnolia (Magnolia stellata, which grows in USDA zone 4 through 8, and Sweetbay magnolia (Magnolia virginiana, which grows in zones 5 through 10.

Wow they re all so pretty! I have a cute little patch of echinacea that popped up and bloomed at my new home last week. I fell in love light pink with bright orange center that actually sparkle in the sun! Definitely have to add a couple more! I love the placement of the single! so cute!

I always buy more plants during the heat of Summer because they look so tempting, but then when I get home. I have to plant them. I never seem to remember this when I am grinning like a fool while throwing my money at the cashiers.

Wow! That green one. Too bad you couldn t get more of those. But I m sure you will eventually. It all looks great in the beds, and that raised container turned out beautifully!

Does anyone know if you can cut back cone flowers and they will regrow a new flush at this time of year? I m in Zone 5 if that helps.

The first one looks like a watermelon and when you said the name Sandia that's Spanish for watermelon

Love your videos! What would you do if your plant is shocked after planting it? Do you rip it out or do you add fertilizer?

Did Laura just dead-name an echinacea? I appreciate knowing both names as I have this (Lakota) in my garden. thank you Laura.

The look on Laura s face was priceless when Aaron showed up and said he liked the look of the raised bed! Both were surprised!

I was really hoping you would pan over a couple inches at the end so we could take another peak at the 1 plant per pot project!
