Simply stunning! Seems like a garden dedicated to just spring bulbs! Which leads to my question - and I know you can’t answer all the questions you get, so maybe just talk about it in a video sometime - but my question is: Do you remove all these tulips bulbs so that you can plant annuals or other perennials in these spaces I just LOVE how you have some space in front and behind the bulbs, but if you are tucking’ these bulbs into an established flowerbed, than how do you have all this space for so many tulips and spring bulbs Seems like you are always adding some perennials, dividing and adding, etc. so how do you have all this room When I try to plant a perennial I run into my bulbs later in the season I want a bit of room around my plants like you have, but then I start running out of room. I hope this is making sense. I’m wondering how you add/subtract plants/bulbs into your established flowerbeds and keep track of what you have. You also seem to plan ahead’ when purchasing bulbs and have decided where you put them. Are you taking things out in the fall when you do that How do you keep track Right now, the only perennials I could see were your peonies coming up and some nepeta. When I look at your garden tours later in the year, I can’t see any evidence of the peony (though I know it must be there) and your flower beds are full with no holes - and yet the seasons for different bulbs/perennials come and go. How do you keep it looking so full all year round If you are adding boxwoods, will you be taking something out to make room

Your garden is just glorious. I do have a bunch of daffodils (and a few tulips) growing in my garde. My favorite by far is Apricot Whirl. After seeing this video, I feel like I have to plant SO many more! I love the Pink Charm, so I will have to get some of those. I absolutely LOVE the Design Impression Tulips! Must have those in my fenced in area! I tried something for the first time last fall, which I will NOT be repeating: I planted a bunch of bulbs in pots, so I could enjoy the spring color. Unfortunately, with the incredibly wet and freezing weather we had, out of about 45 bulbs, literally only one survived: ( all others rotted. I look forward to the next walk and talk!

I love your gardens and your artistry. I would really truly love a study on your reed fencing privacy border, please. I’m wondering how you get the reed fencing to stand straight and tall. Also, I’d love a link to your rolled reed fencing, link to the posts, link to how it is secured to posts, and how long it has held up in your garden. Do you double the reed fence, or use it single Also, I would love to know what shrubbery you use up against your reed fencing. Do you feel like it provides enough privacy I have purchased reed fencing, but I can’t get it to stand up straight and tall like yours. Thank you for your time. Your gardens are beautiful.

If something clashes, pick it for an arrangement! The gothic arches against the grey garage wall work well to disguise a simple block structure. Can't wait to see vines covering them. The architectural interest added from the large pots is well worth the investment! Bonus points that the roof line of the Library mirrors the building in the background. Sometimes borrowed landscapes can be lovely, many times not.
This solution is a brilliant way to mask without completely blocking neighboring structures. It's so nice to see your lovely spring garden, it's a special Easter treat for those of us further north.

Gorgeous, Danielle! I know I've said this before, but I can't say enough that you've done an incredible job. I've got 1000s of naturalized daffodils that I've planted over the years, but I do mow them down, contrary to every garden rule. They do come back, but I've gradually noticed that the older ones all have paler blooms. They're still beautiful, though. Totally anecdotal. Btw I always like an understory that isn't necessarily known as a ground cover, and while I definitely favor cool colors, I like the unexpected pop, too. Happy Easter

Amazing work. If that is your fur baby outside though, maybe you should try keeping it indoors. Birds are breeding right now and trying to fledge their babies. Domestic cats are the leading cause of bird deaths each year killing over 1 billion, this is more than window strikes habitat loss and deforestation. What bothers me is that these cats are being fed, sheltered from extreme weather, provided veterinary care and then are unleashed to kill wildlife which are working tirelessly to survive and feed their young.

Love! Watching this video makes me so happy! I am in Zone 6a. Everything is blooming late this year, but now looking good. I am sooo envious of your tulips. The voles, destroy most of them no matter what hack Ive tried. And the ones I do get are usually nibbled on by rabbits. And alas, Deer have found there way into my yard this year. I think I'll try some raised beds next fall and line them with hardware cloth. My Muvota look a little different than yours. Maybe because of less sun. Thanks for the video.

Stunning as usual Danielle! I adore the pink, orange apricot tulip combo-perfect blend. I wanted to know between the lingerie and daffodils behind the pink charm, I couldn't hear the name clearly, which is the more upright that doesn't flop over Last year I added a whole bunch of replete daffs which I love but they always flop over so I want to switch them out. Would love your opinion between the lingerie and the other one you love. Thnx!

I love the short tulips under the taller. It looks intentional to me. Is that a crab apple you have with holes all through it That happened to mine last summer. I think I have so many holes from the woodpeckers eating the bug/boater that mine is dying. I'm so bummed to lose it. Your gardens are looking beautiful, I'm definitely getting some lingerie daffs this fall. Thanks for the lovely tour.

Danielle sooo much beauty in your gardens! Love those Henry Studio pots by your library they look perfect there. All those glorious tulips and daffs oh my! It would take me forever to mention everything I adore in your garden. To be a guest at your Easter dinner , I would want to spend hours just walking thru all your gardens. Thank you for the tour and Happy Easter to you and your family.

Danielle, I love the changes you've made with the library and raised beds. It is such a joy to behold all the beautiful blooms. I to have the lingerie daffodils and so enjoy them. Here in zone 5, it will be a minute before I can harvest them for my arrangements, but it's so lovely having a sneak peek at yours. Very Fun seeing you in the Proven Winners pamphlet. Happy Spring

Just love all of your blooms! The book nook pots are just gorgeous too!
Like your walkway, my front yard tulips aren't blooming yet, facing west, but my patio bed in the back yard is almost full bloom, facing south and east. I'm enjoying getting the sneak peek of blooms in my back yard though, where I enter /exit my house and where I enjoy coffee in the morning

Hi Danielle! Love the tulips. I vote to pull the movado tulips! I also would like to make a little recommendation to connect the stone rug to the stones at the front of the library! I think the chairs would look nestled in on the crushed stones with the stone rug looking like a pathway! Just a thought. Everything is looking so beautiful.

It would be so hard to choose my favorite Northlawn video, but this may be it! Absolutely beautiful, and I am just blown away with how you made your beautiful vision a reality in your backyard with the book library anchoring it all. Stunning! I will come back to this video again and again for inspiration!

Happy Easter! Such a beautiful walk through your garden. Every year I add more tulips. and daffodils, and I hope to have the abundance you have. I am in a zone 5b/6a, where they come back ppretty well. My ruffled daffodils have a harder time staying upright after it rains, your look good. any tips

I feel like I just went to Holland! Your garden is just gorgeous! All the bulbs are just amazing! I must admit, I was wondering if we weren’t going to see Gracie today, but there she came a running and smiling, just in time to say hello! Just love her and your kitty is adorable too!

-- happy siiiigh -- Still my favorite Saturday morning ritual, sitting down and watching your garden tours. :) I vote yes to keeping the Muvota tulips in the flower walk. I love that they are different, and they are beautiful! Thanks for the intro to Princess Irene. Gorgeous!

Your spring bulb gardens look fantastic and lush. One question I wanted to ask you being an amaryllis fanatic. Do you plant your bulbs in a raised bed or your garden beds in the summer. I just bought a large raised bed and will plant all 40 of them in the container

I totally think you should add the apricot pride mix to the border next year! I would love to see it. I think I'm with you, I like it better than the impression. I have impression, but that makes me want to do the other. I think impression comes back better though

The shorter tulips seems like something a skilled gardener would plant so the eye has color down to the ground. Don’t be influenced by gardeners with endless funds and discard anything that’s not social media perfect. Your garden is inspirational.
