as a violin player solitude is always welcome as I need to study and practice living where you live how best would you welcome it or the wild animals and birds they may on the other hand welcome it or get used to the different types of music played but your life style of solitude letting you have a garden hunt and survive and enjoy the sheer freedom I understand very well as when I practice it's in a different world so we share something in common good looking dog and fine natured best friend you could ever pick all the best stay well and safe

Shoulda just got 4 or 5 shipping containers dropped off mate 6 and ud have yaself a pool. coulda knocked it over in a cpl weekends 3 on the bottom 2 on top open it all up if ya don't want a pool U could make the 6th 1 a lock up garage/man cave U know place to hide out when the misses is in town. still would of been building stuff it's metal shop instead of wood work but Ud still throw up some faux wood panels to make it look the part and best thing is no need to worry bout bushfire season bonza vids but

I have the Hermann Phleps book too, beautiful book. I built a table once too, by guess and golly. It got wobbly over time but was serviceable for 15 yrs or so. My bookshelf is still strong and sturdy. Wardrobe cabinet I made is a favourite if a bit misaligned. I put a lot of love into that. Your cabin is super cute, though could use a woman's touch at this stage! Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed.

I love fishing so I'd have to build a cabin close to a lake, But I know in some parts of the wilderness there must be Grizzly bears looking for salmon or trout, So it would make building a little more risky. But that's some amazing hard work you've done great job. The effort you put in to shou sugi ban the roof

I'm planning on coming out to Canada next year to do this myself, I lack in cabin building experience but have a slight background in carpentry and building. This year I'll be focusing on survival skills. Is there anything you could suggest for a practically beginner level in this kind of stuff?

ok, what is the square hole in the floor with the concrete wash and lid and the table over it. I know it isn't a toilet, and I can't see how it could be a freezer though it is possible. just curious lol.
