The haybox seems to get back into fashion! I'm told my grandparents (around 1910, '20) used to make (and sell) those: a wooden box with a lid, is filled with hay, which is lined with calico. A pan with food is brought to a boil, and then placed in the box, to let it 'cook'. In the Netherlands this was done either to save on coal or wood, or to prevent food from getting burned. Especially rice pudding, with milk, is a great dish for this method. The ultimate slow cooking.

Shawn if you only knew what I have gone through YES it is good to be with your wife to keep her face by yourself it is something that a lady only gives to him ///I will only go that far with that if I ever get to the point in life to be able go out and fall some more logs and to have them for a cabin it will be with the help of some friends that won't tell where the place is I will give it to you it is a promise

I've lived alone a number of years and if I thought I could pull off living out like you. alone. I would but a 55 Year old woman would have needed to start at it 10-15 years ago. plus you and your dog make it all look soo easy!

Okay, I don't understand. You build a counter and cabinet by the dining table in the first half of this video, but in the last part there is no counter and table. Wished these videos were in order.
