Funny how open fire rules are so different every where. In northern Calif. Ya have to get a campfire permit no charge but got to get one otherwise they can fine you 650 dollars for not having the permit. Oregon no permit. But they would like ya to get a wood permit and 5 bucks if ya cut a Xmas tree 10 if ya are driving off road. 8 for a day parking pass to trail heads. It gotten so expensive to go to the woods most just don't want to go anymore.

Is this the new normal, Sean? Video quality has decreased along with punctuality. I don't get it. You'd think with an extra person on the property you would have more time, not less. I've resigned myself to the fact that My Self Reliance will never be as good as it once was. How sad.

Watching you work away during this crazy time reminds me of a book I read a long time ago called, The Last Canadian. Written by William C. Heine, it tells the story of a guy in the midst of a plague, who takes his family into the wilderness where he has a cabin. You might like it.

I'm jelous. I would love to go out. Lock down sucks. A nessasary evil at this point in time. I am sure I am not the only person living vicariously through your posts. Thank you for some sanity hopefully soon enough it will be under control and we regain our freedom. Thanks again.
