Another full year in the wilderness living my dream. There is no place I would rather be than in the wilderness, self reliant, thriving in an off grid log cabin and living close to nature. Spring arrived today, and in my mind, it's the beginning of a new year and I reflect on the last 365 days spent building my homestead and creating a safe place for my family and me for times like this. The next 365 days will bring big changes for me and my family as we continue to learn how to and practice becoming more self reliant and put the lessons I have learned over the last three years to use. This year, food security and health are our focus, along with a few building projects that I'll be undertaking alone to make our homestead more self sufficient.

Not really a survival thing at all right? . mainly Offthegrid living building. How he does it. Has lots of good tools to start off. plus. has got the snowmobile parked outside frt door. 3: 01: 25. so needs got to have gas, oil? . helps uses get around all the snow. prob big ChevyFordpickuptruck around offcamera too. idunno
Need money to start even thinkn of doing building even tiny cabin way off remote land all by yurself. And help. has his friends show up sometimes to move lift hvy logs etc. go fish relax with. Nice must be nice. would like it too. thanks for showing us. Can learn alot

Really nice pics vids. but what happens when Game Fish Warden Ranger/police shows up? Does he have even fishing license? 56: 45 or need one in Canada? Does he even care or answer any their questions? Does he have to show his id or tell them who he is what doing? hows all that work? Does he have his gun rifle in hand ready when the police or Mounties whatever come to his cabin home or out camping in woods or by lake asking lots of questions? Can they arrest him take him away? Always a question risk? right?

You watch a lot of rubbish on YouTube and then you happen to stumble onto a piece of pure heaven. Every ounce of love he has for this place has been poured into the camera work. Such beauty only comes from love. It's been a joy to follow along from the amazing skill, the tenacity to his adorable Goldie, I havent stopped smiling. The icing on the cake for me is knowing I emigrate to this amazing country in just over a year from the UK. I cannot wait to experience just a little of this heaven.

I know it shouldn't be, but the Jordan Peterson book was disappointing to me. He's really just a fraud, pseudo-intellectual. There's plenty of honest intellectuals with similar views, minus all the cultural Marxism and rabid anti-PC bent. We remember the PC wars from the 90's, did any of that result in cultural Marxism? It did not, but let's retread that tired and lazy argument for the 2020's! You lost a viewer.

I dont think you realize how much we need your videos right now. Your solitude and self-reliance calms me. Living in Chicago right now is a disaster because I am a bartender, and all restaurants are closed for the foreseeable future. So I am definitely unemployed. Please send more videos. When I saw that you uploaded a video I actually felt happy. I havent felt happy in a while.

Out there i had it all leagal and above board had 7 lots in spanish ontario cleared with my own two hands little trailer house tool shed creek and a man i trusted took it from me and ten thousand cash al you ruined me and destroyed my dream and chance to leave it all to my kids and you lmtossed it all at a casino

Awesome. I love it all. You really need to get another dog. The poor dog is begging someone to play with him. He packs his toy around and puts it in front of you and you ignore him. At least throw it a couple of times. Lol. I'm sorry I just love dogs and all animals.

A lesson that I have never learned is how to kill animals for my food. I know that it's necessary for wilderness situations, but I just can't do it. I feel like a coward though, but I still can't bring myself to do it.

Im Jealous. What a Life. This is the way it should be for all of us. Give up the fast pace world and take it back in time. Love it man. Keep up the great work. I'm hypnotized watching these vids.
