wow - the scenery on the lake looks as much as idyll as it can be.
But after all what happened in Canada with the mandats and how the Ottawa government treats the poeple who not comply - paradise is lost anyway.
At least for many!
And as long as these mandate rules are not being changed, millions of tourists are kept off of your country, as it is with the US and Australia and New Zealand.
What a tyrannical neo-socialist world, powered by sadistic elites we live in.
Watching your videos almost made me forget about it for some time.

Family can relieve the stress a lot. Your daughter is very beautiful.
My son is not so much,
But he is very smart.
Just bought a piece of land in NS.
Says it's good to have
Something that belongs to HIM.
Seeing Your daughter can relieve the stress
When You go back to the drudgery of normal life again.

Just a suggestion: (If she's going to be there thru the winter) BEFORE the first snow, Build something that will allow her to move the panels to certain angles from the ground. Near vertical for when the snow arrives. Flat with the roof when the wind/rain blows hard. And maybe a lock down latch might be needed.
When the winter weather is good, re-position the panels to the winter solstice angle.
And, YES, you succeeded in making most of us hungry!

I'm envious of your daughter. oh, how I wish my father had wanted to show me how to survive and enjoy wilderness areas and share camping with me. He did share it with my brother but didn't show any interest in or desire in sharing that with me. It's interesting what feelings come up for me as a result of this video.

I am so envious. My son is the same age as Emily and I would do anything to share these type of experiences with him. I love him so much as I can tell you do for your daughter. This has been one of my favorite uploads of yours Shawn! Hope to see more and more like this in the future

What a lovely video. So nice to see you relaxing with Emily, reading, camping, eating well and fishing. The Loons we're Loud! Cali is still so precious. Great to see you put solar on Emily's roof. I just watched someone else a couple days ago, put in the same solar system exactly.

It is an awesome camping and canoeing adventure with Cali doing a lot of swimming in the lake. Can't beat spending multiple days in that amazing place that mother nature provide with lots of tasty and delicious foods cooked on the camp fire. Fantastic video Shawn, Emily and Cali

I built a similar system from my friends ecoflow and it cost 1/3 for the same performance. Not a fan. Easier to pick the components wholesale, and if you have to read a 250 page book on solar and how it works to understand what you need to buy, then do it instead of overpaying.

I don't think I have ever seen you so content as in this video. Watching Cali reminded me of my Goldie Fern, long gone now but not forgotten. A sunset, family and a good dog and all is good in the world.

Being independent of the rest of the world 's foul ups is tantamount to final survival, imho. similar to an insurance policy. in that you have needed capability when others. do not. Always nice to see 'Kallie', the devoted pupper in scenes. lol
