Another beautiful sunny week at the cabin. I take advantage of the warm days to chink the entire exterior of my log cabin, including the breezeway and wood soffits. James: this cabin is amazing work for one man alone in the middle of the wilderness, wonderful in so many ways. To see it come along over the months, in all kinds of weather is a sight to behold. You are the cabin master. Shawn I salute you and your loyal dog for this fantastic trip.

Would you do an experiment for us?
Use scrap wood burn 3 to different degrees, leave one natural. Place them somewhere out of the way, and occasionally check them to compare how they hold up.
I m betting other viewers (besides nerdy me) would find it interesting!
