Golden retrievers are so patient and so smart. i loved seeing Cali down on the flat looking for her throw toy you threw for her. She just Waite for your direction headed that way and looked back like am I close dad. Then smells it and gets it. Just amazing dogs and such wonderful companions.
Not in the cards for me at this time but I hope to get one sometime in the future.
I also watch OUTDOORS WITH THE MORGANS they live in Cranberry PA in america just above Pittsburg a bit and they've always had two or three golden retrievers at a time and just love them and it's breaks there hearts everytime one gets old and passes away.
Cali is something special and you've done a great job trialing her because she listens so well to your camands and you feed her so well. She's definitely loved and cared for and she gives alot of love and friendship back to you as well.
Thanks for giving us a glimpse now and then of her and what's she's up to. Very sweet pup and she's got millions of fans out here just like you do Shawn.

You can hang clothesline out there to dry your laundry in the winter or even when it s raining, and close it in the winter time with the boat wrap make frames and shrink it around the frames and put them in front of the screen for the winter to protect your screen that s what I do for the winter to enclose our porch for the winter and in the spring we take them off and store them away your wife or you can even put the wash machine out there

It may be a bit strange but I never fail to be surprised by the sharpness of your tools. I've always had to work with hand-outs, so I'm unsure if it's normal or actually abnormally sharp. I also know some woods are easier than others, and I've never tried pine. It takes me an hour to get through blocks of wood half the size of the planks you work with.

Using your right arm to cut every single board by hand when you will need that right are for many years in the future to harvest game and grow your food have you thought of the cost benefit? Your out door kitchen is an awesome layout and build, I see the screen door, so I m guessing screen on the open areas to keep the bugs out, especially in the spring? I think you are planning rock walls on exterior, wow handsplitting the rocks, that is very hard work. Hope you don t over do it. Callie is such a good girl!

I really love this kitchen, but you know what stops my eyes, that beautiful brick floor in the breezeway. it's just such a pretty color and you know the contrast of wood with a few other elements really make it a true work of art. One of a kind! love the detail around the kitchen steps too.

Why did you put the hinges on the screen door on that side, a right swing, doesn't it make it harder to exit and enter with the swing closest to the house. (or was that the way the door came, or was it to keep mosquitoes from easily entering. just curious. You make beautiful things.

I've been watching you from the beginning all these builds you been doing. two cabins multiple enclosures all that good food and maple syrup: -) love you keep it up. That right arm sure is looking big: -) a little bigger than the left. A lot of nails have been driven with that arm

Not thrilled watching you practice shooting Bambi. I had to live through my father and brother killing deers. Will never eat venison again. On a lighter note, you have made yourself into a master builder and you have the best dog ever. Love watching Cali.

The only concern I might have with the outdoor/open kitchen is in regards to the stove what steps will you take to keep it out of the winter weather? In awe of your carpentry skills.
