Man what a nice place you have there hard work shows in the details of your cabin I’m packing up to go up to my off grid cabin for a week or two I’m on a medical leave I’m retiring in less than 2years anyway I miss my place in the Appalachian mountains of extreme north Georgia just a rocks throw from Tennessee I miss the solitude and good food I cook maybe one of my grandsons will go up with me I thank GOD for blessing me and my family with this beautiful home up in the mountains

This was wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing your family Christmas images with us. I'm watching it as I'm making duck/turkey broth and cooking the traditional Italian, Umbrian lentils dish eaten on New Year's eve, cooked in duck broth. Apple tarts in the oven ready for us when we get home from the fireworks. Lots of people coming to join us for Julian Christmas/Epiphany. Peace on earth, and joy of Christ's birth to all of us.

I always wonder what Family Christmas means. My brother made it clear, its when one person has all the resources and wealth and food, and other come in desire to have some. There is no family without one person having wealth and substances and others desiring to partake of a little if there wasn't weakness and need there would be no need for others to come and desire what you have Family is one person accumulating wealth.

I am 73 years old. My wife passed away early, and for the past 40 years I have lived alone in the deep forest, surrounded by simple vegetable patches, pork, chicken, crab, snails, and fish. But I am self-sufficient in food. I don't know if I can prepare more diverse dishes from those ingredients. I will enjoy my old age meaningfully. I wish you continued success.

As I enjoy your family holiday video mixed emotions of happiness and sadness comes over me. I’m very thankful for the Christmas we gave our kids this Christmas. The sadness is the void in our family as our kids lost their Grandmother in August. My Mother in Law was like a Mother to me. Wishing you and your family a very safe New Year.

Visto desde el sur de Europa, nos damos cuenta que los americanos del norte, han perdido la esencia de lo que es comida de cuchara, yo creo que para hacer esa especie de guiso que estas haciendo, no hace falta mezclar tantas especias y aderezos que al final, lo que hacen es desvirtuar el guiso en si.

OK. I admit it, amongst all the excellent photography, beautiful settings, comforting homeyness, astoundingly refreshing dialogue (meaning very little, the thing my heart yearns for is one of those dishes. Ummmmm.

Sempre belli i video grazie. Comunque la prossima volta prova a far soffriggere sedano, aglio e carota con olio d'oliva oppure grasso di maiale, solo dopo aggiungi la carne e fai ben rosolare poi aggiungere brodo e porta a fine cottura e buon pranzo

This was beyond words beautiful. I must say my favorite part was watching Callie enjoy the family and the Christmas celebration, as usual, he brought tears to my eyes. Golden are a gift from God.
