I go over my gear including rods, reels, and lures. We then get into some dirty pike. We then take a slow walk on the beach, eat some bunch berries and look for caribou tracks. We decide to deep fry our dirty pike in ringalos chips. Jeremy shows how to properly clean northern pike to be COMPLETELY boneless with the 5 fillets

Hey bud. You were working way too hard making those like boneless. And wasting a lot of meat. Instead of cutting the center piece out, take your fillet and from head to tail on the fillet, run your knife down until you hear 2 clicks every quarter inch. That's the sound of your knife cutting through the Y bones. Then portion it out however you want. Batter it up and fry it. With the cuts you made, once the fillet hits the hot oil, it desinigrates all the bones. Next time I catch a pike I'll make a video and show you. It's perfect. No meat waste and no bones.

Hey Jeremy, I-m interested in surviving in the wild and being more self reliant. I-ve been watching your videos for a while and really enjoyed the ones I have watched. But now I-m inclined to do something similar to you and try my hand at surviving and thriving in the wild. any pointers?

Just came across this video n you got another sub but why does everyone go through that much trouble with pike on cleaning if you just fillet each side then slice out the pin bones pull that strip out the fillet off the skin no meat is wasted at all

Really appreciate the post. Haven't butchered a pike yet but am looking forward to it this summer. Would you recommend to first timer gutting it prior to filleting?

Thumbs down for the ad in the beginning. It really sounded like you were reading it from a paper while a gun was pointed at your head.

those ringos look lot like hula hoop crisps, if you not eating skin why not still put in pan or wrap meat in it so not loose fat?
