Download Life After: Is carrion raccoon inedible to predators and other scavengers when it is 100% frozen in a block? Spypoint Game Camera Adam: with baiting for fox and wolf/coyote, i have seen that most animals will have a taste of the dead animals. In the winter they need to eat and they will eat whatever is required to live. I have also found that most of the time an animal will kill or find a fresh kill vs eating a frozen animal that is whole. They will tear into beaver but that is about it.

More Woodbeard and Son is enough for me brother. I loved the experiment and I wasn't quite sure what the outcome would be. But you were right, its about the scent, because animals are always -surviving- on a daily basis. So to expend wasteful calories trying to gnaw through a frozen carcass is deadly for them, thank the Lord for thumbs; )

I have in the past, disposed of cooked pork and/or chicken in the back yard (with veggies and broth) (semi spoiled, stunk a little) in the backyard of semi rural house, I have used trail camera on them, basically raccoons and possums have eaten them in one night. I mean NOTHING was left.

You know it's wierd that I didn't see You and Holden reviewing the videos as a father and son, but more like 2 Bushcrafters and hunting enthusiasts expert friends talking. You guys share an amazing relationship which is really rare. I hope and wish every Father and Son does that.

If the locals don't find him first we got buzzards and bald eagles to open him up for the rest of the critters that get the left overs. Possums will eat them too but they won't drag it out of the road and wind up as road kill as well. Nothing goes to waste in nature right!

New captions. MADMAN GOES CRAZY AND MUTILATES RACOON jk I understand that u are opening the corpse for more uses by other wildlife and to ultimately return the body to nature and ur learning from this along side from this u really know how to make use of lots of things

Great video and love how you teach your family such a healthy lifestyle and living. These experiences will be cherished for ever and your family should be lucky to have you doing this, Great footage btw, i put my money on a Fox or Opossum before you said it.

Full Stop. Interesting results. i wonder what would happen if you just took the head off or left it slightly attached, the smell would still be there but the animals would still have to work a fair bit. Would definitely like to see more of these!

Thanks Chris, I can't be doing with video games a waste of life to me, they have ruined my Grandsons time with friends and out doors, so I don't like any promotion, But not hatred haha. Thanks for your video. :): )
