wow i see air gaps all over the place! you know an awful lotta heat goes up the stack as well from those stoves rather than giving off lotsa radiant heat. they need to get ALL those air gaps sealed off some of those blockings aren't even NAILED! they need to fix all that before they even think about batt insulation. those siding lap joints are leaking ALL KINDSA air as well! why isn't that vapor barrier between the studs and the siding rather than over the INSIDE of the insulation?

Not hatin, just adding two cents. Maybe it would have been a good idea to do a housewrap like Tyvek or something before putting the siding on. I know you had a little mold on some of the studs and think a Tyvek would breathe enough to keep the wall dry but stop moisture and wind from invading from outside. I am really hoping you don't have to do an insulation on the main floor ceiling, the natural appearance of that ceiling is beautiful. Keep up the good work!

I have been enjoying your videos about the cabin for several weeks since it popped up on YT. However, the life lesson you gave the young hockey player is worth more to me than watching you build 10 cabins. Young men need father figures to look up to. They need discipline, structure, and responsibilities. You remind me of one of my scout leaders sharing advice about responsibilities to the family and I have never forgotten the talks. Hugs from Miami.

Thanks for adding the new area. It's a tough but important subject coaching kids is difficult but I found out that doing it for the few years that I did made a huge difference in the lives of a lot of kids. It was baseball instead of hockey. But still a team game every job is important and not every job is right for everyone. But doing any of the jobs well is an asset to the whole team

I don't know why Canadians always assume Americans don't have a love, knowledge & dedication to hockey. My family, and many others, lived at the rink. My son has played his whole life and is now the high school coach. My daughter and I were figure skaters who competed and both became instructors. For a time I was the director. So trust me, we love our ice sports as well.

You are an exceptional human being and I think you would have good input to modern masculinity because it needs all the help it can get it seems that it is unfashionable or frowned upon for men to be masculine anymore. Anyway have really enjoyed your videos thank you Sir please never change: )

Definitely should do a series on Modern masculinity. So many young men nowadays are growing up without fathers or the never had great role models to begin with and they need to learn all these skills physical mental and spiritual; especially on how to treat the women in their lives.

I am well behind of this video series. I think they improved since this (sticking to topic with some comradery) The first of this video was good (working on the cabin. So, Stick to the cabin build, and make a separate video for your yapping and coaching: o

Let's see. Your brothers property. He does all the work. You call the cabin yours and you pretty much use it. Wow. How masculine is it to whine to the other coach
