We catch giant stone crabs by using pig's feet as bait! Billy, Daniel, Sammy, and their dog Roy took the boat out in the backcountry of Key West, Florida, to pull up traps they set out in the hope of seeing stone crabs and rebait them all. The first few traps were a considerable success- capturing six stone crabs! They measured the claws to ensure they were legal, then tossed the crabs back into the water. After collecting more claws the rest of the afternoon, Billy brought 10 pounds back to the house to cook them up and have a delicious meal!
Robert: Also I grew up in Florida and I've never had any seafood of any type. I am also a hell of a fisherman and I ALWAYS catch and release because I don't eat fish. I used to like Orange Roughy, but I think that I'd like crab and lobster with butter garlic sauce. Date: 2023-03-09
