I traveled to Italy to catch huge squid and swordfish in the straights of Messina using the new Penn Fathom battery-powered fishing reel. We targeted swordfish for three days using tridents on the Felucca Boats. On the last day, I met up with Andrea from Sicily fishing, and we dropped baits in over 2000ft of water, searching for a giant squid. Wish I could afford to go on a boat with this guy: / I inquired for prices YEARS ago but it was out if the question then and I'm sure prices have gone up since then.
