I've been waiting all year to go fishing for some monster tripletail with my buddy Scott Lum. I was scheduled to film a bass fishing show with Scott Martin, but I got a call from Scott Lum that the tripletail were biting. Scott Martin and I agreed to change our bass fishing plans and go fishing for monster tripletail fish. The bite was insane We caught well over 20 fish with at least 10 fish over 10lbs. These were the largest tripletail I've ever caught or seen in person.

I agree. I Iove the quality of the shows. But the thing that gets me time and again, is the fact the guys catch 6, 7, quality big fish for the table, and yet are still questioning whether to release others that they're catching. How many does a guy need to satisfy his eating. Only take what you need guys

Pan sear each filet after you coat them with panko bread crumbs. Then put them in oven for 20-30 minutes at 350. Melt butter, lemon juice, and kapers on stove top. Boil favorite pasta. Serve Filet on top of pasta and spoon the butter, lemon, and Kaper sauce over the top. Wow Talk about good

Who ever catches the biggest triple tail has to buy dinner? Triple tail is the best eating fish in the world and you're incredibly dumb to say a comment like that. You better have eaten those

Such a waste with such a great eating fish not to bleed & gut them immediately on capture, then put on ice. Swimming in a well will only stress them out severely and affect the flavour.

I like how you didnt blur out the buoy numbers but you blurred out the yellow scripps buoy hahaha. sick video man Thats a normal day in port canaveral this time of the year

Hey josh, do you think a 6ft 80-130lb shark rod do good against goliaths? I might pair it with a TLD 50LRSA 2 speed or Tyrnos 50LRSA 2 speedWhich one would be better?

Dude that was awesome fishing, catching that many tripletail in one trip is insane. I've literally seen 1 and caught 1 in all my years of fishing the Gulf.

When casting to the buoy / fish, do you throw it past them and retrieve it back towards you/them or near them and let it sink? Or something else. Thanks

Josh needs to come back to southern California and get into some of our local yellowtail and offshore tuna action Or go down to Puerto vallarta
