In this episode of BlacktipH, Preston and I have only one day left on San Salvador Island in the Bahamas, and it will be our final attempt to catch an offshore fish species from land. We got to the south side of the island in the morning, but the wind direction wasn't working for us. We came back later that afternoon, and the conditions were excellent! I set up the kite and deployed the first bait. It didn't take long to get our first bite, and it almost immediately broke us off on the reef. This fish had to be a grouper! We deployed our second bait, and after an hour, we hooked our second fish of the day. This fish stayed on the surface the entire fight. It was 100% an offshore pelagic species. After an intense battle, a shark stole our victory and ate our fish! I am 9 years old and salt water fishing is my favorite!

i have been craving to go fishing at my cottage but its freezing cold and the lake is frozen. (we dont have the big saw) so i have been just barely surviing off of your videos.

great content can t wait till next trip. if you look 9: 26 in top left of screen you can see the shark get it in the waves.

In namibia we wish with 15ft rods and spinning reels with braid if you had such rod with this episode it will be alot better
