I kinda feel like I don't get it. That giant fish was called a permit? Or you bought a licence to catch that type of fish? Oh and I get now that bone fish are for sport catching not eating. On to watch your next video thanks again for your great work Bob.

Super nice Permit - that was awesome. Thanks for adding the Google Map screen shot. For those of us in colder parts of the US, now we are planning a trip to the sunshine and warmth and hopefully some great fishing!

here in Hawaii we enjoy eating bone fish we call them oio we freeze them one night next morning defrost then scrape the meat with the spoon. making fish patties

yes bonefish are eaten. In Turks and Caicos it is fried, stewed, boiled (especially the head. it has LOTS of bones but it is tasty!
