On those tough fishing days I'm always happy to catch a couple Runners, specially when all you've caught is Ladyfish and Remoras, I've eaten them for years, I like to be sure I cut out as much of the lateral line red meat as possible, it's what gives the heavy fish taste, when that's done it's pretty good, specially when you fry then with a Cajun fry coating. I'd as soon eat my sweaty sandals than that Bonita, maybe they're better cooking them a different way but this is how I like my fish, and this way is not agreeable.

Not a trash fish and also not a bonito, It's a faults albacore or little Tunny. Look up Bonito and see what it is it, has nothing to do with what you caught. Cleaned correctly and prepared right it's as good as any tuna, so think about what tuna would be like fried.
Trigger is also a incredible eating fish and clean it like any other fish, Life is not all that hard.

I had bonito once a long time ago. I was told to broil it with a 3/4 inch slice of onion on top of it. CHALLENGE: Surf the internet looking for bonito recipes until you find one that makes you actually like cooking and eating bonito.

I love the trigger fish. I used to fish a lot on Hatteras Island, some of the wrecks used to be loaded with triggers, black sea bass, and snapper. For fish tacos you gotta have a crunchy shell, otherwise you have a fish burrito.

Shit I live here in the middle of the desert (Albuquerque, NM) and id kill for some fresh fish. My mouth was watering just watching. All we get here are lake fish which dont have much flavor. Im so jealous.

That fish is not a Bonito! It is a false albacore! Bonita have horizontal stripes and taste great. Even as sushi! False albacore have zig zag lines. And taste bad!
