NEVER EVER hook up your bait on a drone while flying in mid air. The blades are very sharp and you will get hurt really bad. Rather use a thick canvas tarp about 6 ft square on the ground, you can GPS the drone to return to the mat every time you want to load your bait. Use a small cable tie and loop it through the sinker swivel and another through the hook eye, then use the cable ties to hook up on the drone, this will stop the pendulum effect. Please note that you must find out from your local fishing parks board if you can use a drone for fishing in that area, don't use the drone anywhere near an air field as you will get fined. Great vid and tight lines

Been trying this with a mavic pro with a gannet and my trouble is the current drags the line 1500 feet to my right down the beach but my casted line stays using 5 oz. Weight on both poles spent 1 grand to do this and I have had 20 cast all just end up back on the beach I think its drag on that much line that pulls it and I try to reel it tight but it's always just running right

Guys. great video. I notice that the leader from the drone to bait is very short. I tend to have mine 4/5 m long from gannet X hook to the sinker. Was I right on this or is the leader longer for big baits? Interested to know. Cheers

Great idea! Think this may work here on TN River, when the Bass are in the breaks! Rascals are hard to get close too at times! Will have to check this technique out, thanks for the idea. and the videos!
