Thanks for the plug, I guess 40+ years of advocating and God knows how many thousands of dollars I've spent traveling the state of Florida fighting for Clean Estuary Water and Angler Rights is paying off. Never Surrender! According to many researchers I have worked with the crabbing should only get better in years to come as water quality's improve, A lot of that is due to marine enhancement projects I promote and take part in. Professional Guides like me sacrificing, Volunteering and Devoting time and battling the industries that harm our wonderful fisheries is a Duty that we cherish. Standing up on podiums and fighting for the many millions of Florida Angler's here in the Fishing Capitol of the World is what I'm here for. It's really a badge of Honor!
Tks again, xox

Dar, no denying U R a cutie but honestly, do yourself and others a favor. Never, ever eat anything that bottom feeds in Florida coastal waters. Send some of that crab meat to a labrotory and you will find it loaded with PCBs, Mercury, lead and other poisons. You shouldn't drink water out of your toilet, so please don't eat out of it.

Much as I love you guys, I still disagree with not taking both claws. Smart people tell us we can keep or not keep whatever we take from the waters. Why are you so intent on following the rules and then not do it with the crabs? I feel that its more related to crippling.
Love you guys. Really love the new bikini. Raleigh

You say you don't take both claws because it turns the crabs into scavengers. but, if you'll think about it. they were scavenging when they crawled into your trap to eat the dead bait with both of their claws on!

I've always wanted to try bagging my bait in burlap or something to keep it from getting gobbled up. The crab will still smell it and find it and keep attracting crab till you return!

I think the studies show the death rate for taking one claw or both is the same. and its pretty damn high for either. So you might want to keep that in mind for upcoming catches.

Darcie, I admire your NON-ewww handling of slimy smelly fish stuff of all types. AND your kind consideration of fans big and small. What an all-around nice woman you are.

I remember when girls went fishing with clothes on. I would NEVER put my wife or any family member in front of a national camera looking like this.

Think I'm gonna put out some traps next year, lived here all my life and have never tried this. Oh, like the new suit too. Keep it up guys.
