Croaker are very prevalent up here in the mid-atlantic. We often get larger classes of them. I've thrown them back if they were under 18 inches and have caught them over 22 inches. It's not unusual to catch a cooler full in just a couple of hours when they're running good.

Brian, is that flash a bit of silver hair, or just blonde? I had light brown hair until I was 40 then turned all silver/white. I kept telling my ex that she did that to me. LOL Croaker looks good. You two be safe!

Croaker is a popular fish here in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Ive heard it called trash fish but I dont like the texture of trout. Though I love flounder my favorite fish is croakers!

We used the croakers for bait for giant amberjack and giant grouper. You should have put that croaker on a big rod and reel like a 4ot or 6ot
