Idyllic family life with expert knowledge guiding young James. You have seemingly perfect lives in beautiful surroundings (yeah, I know, not always as perfect as it seems) but from here, it DOES look perfect! What you call Irish Moss we call it Limu in Hawaii, oh man, its so good with Ahi poke ( Tuna), Poi ( pounded Taro Root) topped with Limu and Opihi ( Limpet) - ok hungry now.

you need one of those poles that have pinching claws on the end if you regularly crawl into little holes in the rocks to make it easier to grab, crabs & lobsters

I'm envious of your son, growing up with your parents walking and foraging from the coast would make for a wonderful childhood in my opinion
