Have you ever wondered what is happening underwater by your bait when you're fishing? I fish several different locations throughout a tide showing what is happening underwater on the seabed and the many different sea creatures that live there. Reef, harbour, pier wall and deeper water

I am really enjoying your videos. You had me at the mention of Cornwall. I went there once and loved it. I always dreamed of retiring there and just painting everything. I came back with hardly any pictures though; I was too busy enjoying the place!
I don't really fish, but I used to dive, so I love the underwater stuff. And I love the foraging. I am not much for beaches unless it is in cool weather. Cornwall fits the bill!
Most of all, I enjoy listening to you. I didn't think you were Cornish, because I can understand you. But the Yorkshire accent I do get. Your voice is soothing and you are always smiling. You have a nice family as well. Your son is fortunate to be able to learn from you.

Just superb John all your videos are top notch but this was mint. Ballan Wrasse are my favourites and you are the master of the scratching rig. The underwater footage is fantastic like looking at an aquarium. That thornback ray was proper on one. I love your fish care skills too if it needs dispatching no messing you do it. You also make sure your fish are recovered to return which I like. Can you eat Ray species and how would you dress them and cook them up. Stay safe all the best to family. Kind Regards Tony

Great video as usual thanks John. -I can't watch the float for you if you stand in front of it-! -- Some seriously good underwater footage, and Mr Thornback sure got out of bed the wrong side that morning! Still playing catch-up - I wish I had a garage like yours and could upload some 'Trampster's workshop' stuff! Currently making some accesories for a seatbox, and an extending rig jig. Wifey is threatening eviction, due to the woodworking gear in the kitchen! -- Stay safe & well! --

Stunning vid mr locker, would be very happy to see more like this throughout the year as the seasons change. Good to see where all my money on bait goes - and assure myself I-m being environmentally kind feeding the population. Thought that little bream was a hoot with that look he gave swimming past. not sure if it was a terrified look or just plain miserable -

I love watching your videos; I live across the big pond in North Carolina and have a second home on our coast. It's very different from your coast; we don 't have rocks, only sandy beaches and the water. Love you accent, even though sometimes it's a little hard to understand for this Southern girl with a strong Southern accent. Got to love all accents!

So familiar where you had your pots, used to fish that area some 60 years ago, there were beds of calcified sea weed out there which was dredged up and taken up to Truro for processing, it destroyed so much bottom life. The bottom vis is much as I remember it & cold, dont dive in cold water any more. Brrrr! Nice video.

Seeing the bottom of the ocean was fantastic and added a new dimension and interest. Being able to see the fish moving around going about there business make things easier to understand about different bait rigs. Please do more of this, its so interesting. Thank you for posting.

Hi John. Brilliant vid as always. Made me chuckle with your 'Nice out is'nt it' comment. Reminded me of the old Morcambe & Wise joke Two old men sat in deckchairs etc! Roll on Summer sick of the crap Yorkshire weather. Best Yorky Dick

Would love to see a camera put on a lure rig or jig. be great to see those takes. Imagine the footage from a bluefin or a shark take. Be cracking!
Yet again, a great video and extremely educational. Thanks John!

If you could do similar footage for cod etc when they arrive, that would be fascinating. As said many times - this shows unseen things and is the best UK docu-series, why can't you do this off Whitby!
