Well done letting them back, good sir. I am a strong advocate for maximum landing sizes for certain species, which basically is what you implemented here.
Like, when they don't even taste that good, it is such a waste.
For instance, in Sweden, you are allowed to land pikes between 45 and 75 cm. This is implemented for sustainability reasons, but also happen to be the good eating size. (And yes, pike is bloody delicious when it is not caught in murky water, and cooked properly)

I once dispatched a lobster of that size (same species as on the video) because his shell was so hard our chef lady couldn't cut through it. Feels really bad when I watch how you care for and protect them. They are bloody delicious though, much tastier than European spiny lobster which is a bit more common along southern Croatian coastlines (both are present in abundance though.

Well I could repeat all of the comments regarding your wonderful attitude toward sustainability but on this occasion you made me feel so sad that my children have grown up and how I miss the interaction you have with James, he will grow up to be a wonderful young man.

I was so relieved to see that you released the pair of dinosaur lobsters! I would have wanted to admire them for a little while, too! It was nice that you brought your son with you to release them and show him what to do! Best wishes to you and your family.

The fact that she can carry that many eggs is yet another good reason to put her back. People like you are what keep the numbers up there. Well done sir. So many wouldn't have done that. That's a chance at thousands more to be hatched.

I am sorry about the technical issues with the first upload of this video. I noticed a glitch and I wasn-t happy with putting out a sub par video as these really were special. I hope you have a wonderful day and take care. ---

Is 'V Notching' something you need a licence or permit for? Can you enlighten us if you need a qualification or something to do it with specimens you deem require it? Marvellous to see these magnificent creatures protected!
