The Garmin clearly shows the effects of being 2-3 generations ahead of the competition. The grid lines are huge factor in the Garmin as well, you can tell how big the fish are. is much more obvious when vertical jigging for Muskies, you can see if it's an upper 40's or better vs. a smaller one. The resolution is definitely better. I have a large Solix, so hate to spend the money for a second head to get the Garmin. I'm really hoping that Hummingbird megalive gets better with a second or third generation unit, the beauty of which, is connecting it directly to my compatible Solix, which saves you 50% over the others having to get a head for those.

Garmin is the best, they were the first. Hummingbird has had better electronics that all other brands for 10 years, this is the first unit hummingbird is 2nd place on. Need to run the units one by one to reduce interference. Then use the gain to fine tune each unit independently without background interference. So far the video is about Garmin. I see lots of dude who can't afford it offering their opinion on the cost, makes no sense. If you can't afford it your opinion on the cost is moot.

Great video. Thanks for doing this video, it was great to see this Tripel comparison. I really enjoyed how you showed the delay comparison. The only issue I have is that your bird showed interface while on alone, many other videos I have seen does not show interfere, you may have some more tweaking to do for a fair test. But all three look sweet! Thanks

Really appreciate this video, I'm in Moorhead Minnesota, would love to fish with you some time. You have helped me with my decision for the Garmin, but I hope you can do this again in 2022 at the start of ice season so before I buy I can see any technical advances made with this new stuff over one year. The hummingbird especially, but lorwance too were giving me a headache with the interference. I've used all 3 of their less expensive sonar units on my boat. I like Garmin the best, I like my echo map too. I do run a hummingbird Helix too, just don't like having to buy all the different mapping chips.

I like looking at the Lowrance the least, but it definitely worked the best at marking fish early. That delay is rough though.
Didn't like the look of the humminbird much, and it wasn't reading well near bottom.
Garmin is really nice to look at, shows fish almost as well as Lowrance.

You do not have the garment is a garmin tuned in right, lower the bottom Switch it to bronze color, Garmin was the 1st producer of live optics, Is end Pan optics, the hummingbird in the loramps are copying, , the live optics garment blows both of those away, Did my research tested all 3,

I've read people suggest that software updates could improve Humminbird's image quality. Is that something you think could happen? Gor that kind of money, I'd like the best performance. That has me looking at Garmin. but I already have gen3 Humminbirds and an Ultrex.

What and excellent test. All look acceptable, with each having a different look. Im going to go with the brand I have on the boat because they network. Hoping software upgrades will keep the performance competitive. but its a crap shot! Thanks for a GOOD. Video.

Humminbirds absolutely do not like to play nice with other brands. What drives me crazy is they do not like to play nice with other Hummers! I don't get that. I can't fish within 40' of another Ice 55 with my 55. Screen is unreadable with interference.
