While out fishing the brute bakery I stumbled upon the morel mushroom JUICE If you enjoy the morel mushroom hunting videos let me know PEACE Emily Mckissack: I'm a Morel Mushroom hunter don't pick them by there roots. Just pitch them rise them off gently really good in cold water put them in a bowl with salt water at least couple of days always carry a bag with wholes in it so the spors will fall out.

Next time you go take a sack with holes in it like a potato sack because they wont grow back when you pull the root out they have little like seeds on them and they will drop to the ground and it will let them grow back the next year you go and its starts and the season starts in June

Peanut oil has a high flash point (harder to burn the oil) you should know this from all the fish you eat/cook. Eggs and milk to dredgeHalf Frying Magic and half Andy's red breading ( add ground Cayenne pepper to taste)Fry until golden brownEnjoy the Nectar of the Gods. Repeat

Lol when we hunt them its called dry land fishing. Just found it kinda ironic. But you should soak them in salt water overnight before you eat to run all the bugs out. Also when you collect them use a sack not a bag to let the spores go back to the ground while you walk.

If you want to do this again then I suggest a better bag. here's what I use. I use a popsicle bag that has those small holes in it then they will taste different and be a batter type of different ps. I recommend putting it as a sandwich plain

You have grays and yellows and those are for sure morels. Where there's 1 there's more and never pull from the roots like you did. Leave the roots for next season. Use saltine crackers not flour.

I like to just do really good butter on a hot skillet, roll them in flower and throw them in. Little salt after they're done helps but honestly I like them with maple syrup when cooked in butter.
reply

Next year try beer batter and deep fry them or use ritz crackers as bread crumbs and fry them in butter Dont season them or dip them in anything because it hides the flavor of the mushroom
