Kayak Bassin' Early Fall #22

Me and Craig head out for another Kayak adventure. This time we head to Lake Mcqueeny where me and Ryan caught some big fish early in the year. Me and Craig never saw any big ones but getting out on the water in the fall can be some of the most beautiful times on the water you have all year. We caught our fish on jigs and texas rigged beaver style baits and a few on crankbaits and buzzbaits early. As much as I like fishing out of my bass boat, I have to say the kayak scene is a nice change of pace and brings a lot of fun challenges to trying to catch a bass. No big patterns to the day, just a few hours of fun with my ol' buddy Craig. I also get to try out the new Virb action camera from Garmin. It's a good addition to my little POV camera arsenal

Hey so since you seem to know Kayaks pretty well, and I'm looking to buy one for this spring/summer, I need some suggestions. I notice there are a lot to choose from but I don't want to spend more than 500, I know that cuts out a lot of choices but, what do you suggest? Sit-in or sit-on? And obviously a fishing model. And paddle or peddle? Please shoot me a reply, btw I love the vids keep em goin!

Hey man. I respect ya and all, but can you hold the bass vertical instead of at an angle? Did you see how that small guad at 8: 50 had troubles closing it? That can really damage their mouths and affect their eating. Thanks in advance. More vids please.

I am a very avid angler, I would like to recommend you to Lake Dunlap, near Seguin, if your looking for a day on the water where you catch countless amounts of nice Largemouth, Give Dunlap a try

Would it be to risky to stand up, and pitch/flip into cover, and Really lean into fish on the hook set on a kayak like the hobie?
I guess my question would be have you ever done that yet?

I'm pretty sure your buddy was in my business law class last semester at TXST. Haha but I was wondering where you parked and put in at since the public boat ramp no longer exists?
