Good video! I plan to add skipping to my casting arsenal by Spring. thanks for great tips & insight on the subject; ) I've been fishing with Baitcasting Reels for about a year now & after coming across your exhibition castingvideo, I'm more confident in using those reels & appreciative of you spending your free time making videos for anglers cause sometimes trial/errormethods or words typed on a sheet of paper just doesn't do any justice!

Can you skip with a spinning reel if you can I think I want to practice on that first before I do it on my baitcaster and are the bps Johnny Morris carbon lite rods good? I might b erring one for Christmas to go with my bb1 pro series

What would be the best rod for many purposes an many lures I'm either getting a 6'6 medium or 7' medium heavy which is moe versatile it's a Johnny Morris carbonlight btw

Skipping is an awesome technique to have I can do it with spinning gear although it may take me 3 casts to get it where I want. Not so much with casting gear.

Skipping with fluoro is almost impossible for me. I can skip with braid very well but it sucks having to tie fluoro leaders all the time.

Aim low. 75% of bad skips are when it's too high and bangs into a dock. When you see that hole you wanna skip thru aim below it.
