I hope they made changes to the BD Frog since it's release last year. if not, they're trash. You'll find out once you throw it more. The weight is not secured well. I had 3 bites on it. Caught the first 2 which were both barely over 1 lb. But both of them scraped off tons of paint. The third fish knocked out the weight and the rattle, making it useless. Everyone I know who has bought that frog has had the same experience. The bluegill color they make is probably the coolest color frog on the market. But the paint is trash and the weight does not stay in place. If they would fix it so that the weight was actually permanently attached like most frog and not just placed in the hole, it would be much better.

i cant seem to figure out those reins plastics. im a drop shot fisherman and have had no luck on these yet. also the other day i got hung up in some grass and ripped the reins baby bass right off the hook. I use the owner misquito hook sz 6 should i try those stand up hook cause my box didnt come with them

Agree 100% on the Reins Bubbling Shaker. Catches fish guaranteed. Also cut the end flush and put on a mushroom weight hook for a Ned rig. Thanks MTB for the introduction.

Thanks for showing an up close on the dropshot hook, I wasn't sure what you meant during explaination. I love drop shotting and hopefully this tip will improve my hookups!

For frogs I like to cut the legs down so it limits the fishes mouth to land on the hooks I get a 40 % better chance of setting the hook when I do that
