In this action packed fishing vlog video, me and LunkersTV are going bass fishing on a windy high-pressure post front day that went from tough to domination. Normally blue bird skies and high winds make for some really tough fishing conditions, but when fishing crankbaits and spinnerbaits isn't producing, fishing shakey head finesse trick worms on the bottom can save the day. The lake water was very stained, so dark color finesse trick worms worked the best. Junebug and black and blue colors are always good choices for post front largemouth bass too, even in clear water. Once we figured out the bite on the trick worms, we were able to fish that pattern anywhere around the lake there were rocks. The bass were sitting in anywhere from 2' - 16' depending on the wind. Windy banks seemed to push the fish up close to the bank, even the big fish. At one spot, Rob lost a GIANT largemouth bass on a small crankbait very close to the bank. Late fall bass fishing is known for its numbers, but this fishing day was full of numbers and good bass! This was a tough video to edit because of SO MANY FISH to pick from! FISHING TIPS AND TECHNIQUES FOR SHAKEY HEAD Fishing shakey head worms is very easy to do. Try to fish a light weight jig head to get a natural presentation. We were using 1/4 oz today because of the high winds. Cast it out in hard bottom areas or at the base of stumps and docks. Drag the bait in short pulls on the bottom until you feel something hard, then shake the rod tip to make the worm dance. The bass can't stand that when it's sitting right in front of their face! GEAR FOR SHAKEY HEADS It dirtier water, or on lakes with big fish and lots of cover, I prefer to fish my shakey heads on bait casting tackle. I use a medium power fast action rod with braided line and then tie on a fluorocarbon leader. Shakey heads are great on spinning gear as well with lighter line in clear water. Best day caught over 50 bass in a 6 hour trip. Used to live in Casselberry, Fl. Lived on a small lake called Lake Howell. It's about 400 acre lake with a small river that goes way back. Has cypress trees everywhere and the bass stack up on them. You should try to fish that lake, but it's a private lake so you'd need to clear with one of the apartment complexes or find a fan that lives on that lake. You will not be disappointed. Holds good bass lots of 3-5 lb and in the right spots 6-8 lb. Best fishing ever, miss that lake. Live in OKeechobee now, but she is stingy with the bass. Would be awesome to see you fish that lake. If you go, I will be more than happy to be your guide. Small boat needed. I fished out my 16 ft alumacraft with a 20 Suzuki and 45 lb trolling motor. Perfect to get back in that creek.

Great Vid! The most bass I have ever caught in one day was when me and my friend went to a gold course pond and landed 150 to 200 bass in 6 hours, the biggest being about 6 pounds (my friend lost about a 7) with multiple 3 and 4 pounders, all on topwater and lipless crank baits.

Kentucky lake spring spawn for four days straight 50-60 fish a day. Most fish were 2-4 pounds. Best fishing of my life so far. Brother in law caught a 6. 10 that week. My biggest of that week being 5sometging. Keep cranking!

I've had some really good days over the years. Any day I catch 20+ is great. I've had 45+ with a friend and 70 one time with a girl I was dating. We smashed every bass in that pond and I had never been there before.

Losing those crankbaits isnt really good for in return. a fish good try to eat it and get the hooks stuck an odd way and possibly not be able to eat again. Js
