River Truck Camping for Winter Trout

video description

Rating: 4.0; Vote: 1
Going camping out of the new truck for a winter trout fishing trip on a river that's normally clear, but not today. Donny: Its been a very wet trout season on the Blue. Shes had PLENTY of heavy rains and kept her running much above normal this season. If you can ever catch her when she clears up, the fishing is stellar. Great video and sorry for the tough fishing conditions.

You should try Trout fishing with worms we used to do it when I was a kid and would put fish the fly guys with 1k of gear, 2 split weights about 6-10 inches above the hook with a worm wadded up on the hook like a knot.

I don't care that he didn't catch anything. I just like that he went out there and enjoyed natures goodness. I could stare at that fire with an adult beverage and life is good. the Outdoorsman's TV

Yall should get a big pontoon boat and call it the Ggogan Yacht! Get a 2 story and put the kids (Perrick, One Rod, & Jon) up top and have Father/Son Crappie, Catfish, and White Bass competitions!

I think i need to find my way down there! Here in western Colorado we're seeing highs of 35 degrees or so, need to find me a place that the lows are near there so i can fish more often

I camped next to a stream and it helped me forget that my broken sleeping bag was not keeping me warm in 10 degree weather while its snowing and I had a few brewskies in me too.
