excited for the crappie videos! I was with grant when he caught that mondo over a brush pile. Im never using 4lb mono while crappie fishing deep piles again. I too used to only focus on bass but got addicted to crappie last year. Nothin like that thump and I still catch lots of bass while targeting crappie.

Best crappie bait is a good jig with the heavily modified tail section of the mondo worm. your clipping off damn near the entire front section just leaving part of the worm and that gloriously long tail. Works every time.

Grenada Lake Crappie Charters in Northeast Mississippi seems to know how to catch em. All the time on facebook i see them pulling in the big ones. Grenada lake also has some of the best crappie fishing in the US.

Head to the Arc of Slab LFG! Be amazing to see you using PanOptix on the crispy collector. Although the electronics will be worth more than the boat.

Thats a tough lake to cover but there are some great fish in it. Personally I prefer Richland Chambers or Lavon for crappie/hybrids and white bass.
