So after having this boat for a few weeks, do you like it? I have a Triton 21 HP and you have to drive it. You can't floor it and lay back with one hand and cruise, you have to drive through the chine walk. I'm getting ready to buy a new boat and can't decide which one I want. I'm not going back with Triton since it's owned by Johnny Morris's group and quality is already taking a hit. Looking at Skeeter, Phoenix, and Allison. I'm getting older so the Skeeter is looking more attractive to me at this time in my life. I don't need to run 80 anymore but would like to still hit 74 with a partner and load. I know some people would ask why I would consider an Allison because they are the fastest bass boat made but they're a great rough water boat and I really like the way you can get out of the wind and cold behind the consoles. Phoenix makes a beautiful boat and made here in Tennessee. Thanks for the video!

To help with that chine walk, install stiffer engine mounts. At speed the stock rubber in the mounts cause the motor to start hunting back and forth causing the boat to start walking.
Edit: you can mess with the jack plate and trim settings to help alleviate chine walk or just drive on through it and it will quit.

Note that the drill sergeant in the video was in uniform and one of the protesters threw something at him hitting him in the head, a case can be made that as an active duty sergeant he too is an agent of the Federal government as are all active duty personnel therefore his assailant qualifies for federal charges!

One last thing; you will be much better with livescope if you are able to have it move independent of your trolling motor. It can be on your Troller, but if you spot lock, you are gonna want to be able to control direction

Thats a serious unit son. You will have a force trolling motor and a mega 369 and possibly a second livescope. Mark my words boy. Too bad it cant be a full time crappie boat, but chasing slabs is way too much work

Great stuff man. Look into the Garmin 12+ inch gpsmap units, they have better resolution. I love Garmin. I kayak tournament fish a lot.
