the Pilgrims learned from the Natives to coat roast turkey in maple mustard sauce, while cooking, and after. Start with spicy brown mustard, add pure maple syrup, and some black pepper. Also delicious on ground turkey sloppy joe mix. Taste test on fish is on the agenda. I can't go fishing til my home is ready for inspection, sigh. I may try it on some cod filets come payday.

Yall never use cornmeal or atleast a cornmeal mix on your fish? I have only used just flower on my offshore fish in like a beer batter or something. if you hadnt tried cornmeal instead of flower esp on crappie or catfish give it a try.

Dude. I think that mustard as a base on the fish is genius. The acidity probably masks the fishy taste so you can get that meaty goodness as LFG would say. Gonna have to try this next chance I get!

You have no idea how lucky you are to live by a lake like that, bass fishing paradise! I live in Arizona there is no fishing like that here! Anybody could catch frog fish in those conditions!
