I dont live in TX and I dont hunt hogs but why would you not shoot the boar if you had a shot? Seems if Im trying to slow down the population growth of a herd, killing him would be a good way to start. I guess it dont really matter since you can kill them at will.

I just cant do this I dont want to hurt or kill any animals when im able to just buy the meat I want. Dont get me wrongim not saying its bad or wrong i just dont like it. If it was survival situations of course im gonna kill and eat them
