i use almost the same set up and slay em all over southeast Florida 3/0 or 5/0 wide gap and toads some times when they're being sluggish or not feeding like i want them i just slip the toad off and slip a white trick worm on it will stay just under or on the surface when worked a lil slower than the toad so it gets more of those sluggish bites oh and a trick with the toads make the flapper cuts a lil deeper so it kicks more at a slower speed that helps too
