I met up with Rich from Fishaholic Fishing to Wade Fish in the Indian River for Speckled trout, redfish, snook, jack, ladyfish and flounder. We had a close call with a blacktip shark that charged our feet during the beginning of the trip.

Something I just started to do when my leader gets bitten up after catching a fish, instead of cutting all the chewed up leader off, leave about an inch or 2 and use that bad bit as your tag end when you tie the knot, you end up cutting off the bad bit after you have cinched it all down, rather than wasting good line for your tag end

Regarding your rod's line guide, it looked like it just pulled out of it's wrapping, I have had this happen to me before and it can easily be fixed if you slide it back into the hole that it came out of with a little superglue, if you still have the guide, give it a try

Awesome episode with our FishAholic. FishAholic, EliasV, and SeaMoney are the Northeast Cornerstone of Fishing. Hope one day, perhaps this summer, you will go north and have a fishing outing. This episode was such a nice surprise.

my advice is whenever you catch a trout always wet your hands when grabbing them always make sure your hands are soaking wet so you dont hurt the fish by removing there slime coating (protective)

That's a cool way to fish. up close and personal. I don't really do much wading up here on Long Island. just like fishing from a boat better. but that looks awesome

Flounder are a tasty fish and when little they have an eye on each side. It's their skull that turns to give them two eyes on top.
