In this Catch and cook video, we went offshore for a quick afternoon drift with live bait and caught a variety of Species including Sailfish, blackfin tuna, Bluefish, Mackerel and Bonito. Florida offshore fishing allows us to have many days of multispecies action. The Tuna and Mackerel were prepared Tuna Poke style and the bluefish was fried using panko breadcrumbs. Dude. that's what you call an epic day of kick-ass fishing! The sound of screaming reels left and right on a beautiful day, that's the kind of stuff you live for! Nice mixed bag of fish you guys caught. but I'm freaking out about that beast of a bluefish, that thing was ridiculous! I've caught some decent blues at times but not for a while. my biggest was a 32 I caught from Jax beach back in 2005, but none that big since. I love me some bluefish and your grandmother had the right idea about soaking bluefish fillets in milk, but do mines with a milk and lemon juice combination and I've also done it with jack crevalle(key tip is to trim away the blood line) and it is awesome. gives it a very nice flavor. I know this video was done a while back but watching it was very enjoyable and I'm looking forward to more good stuff from you guys!

In all Europe Bluefish is called the whole tunnid family.
Oily meat mainly, and cooking process is different than other white fish (noyt oily meat.
And we call crudo (Raw) to everything people is calling sashimi/sushi. (we dont roll rice with seagrass, thats the difference)
Same crudo is called ceviche by Peruvians.
There are many ways to make some crudo.
Good aproach to the kitchen, I see you are getting better.
Regards.
Fred. (you've got another like)

Blue fish is great! Lots of stuck up fisherman in florida, They only want snook grouper dolphin wahoo but theres so many different kinds of fish that are just as good or better.

Unless you deep fry Blue fish that size, they tastes terrible. They need to be a pound and a half or less for them to taste good. Otherwise they're too oily

Nice catches and video! What is the rod you have your Daiwa BG on it? What rod do you recommend for BG5000 for boat fishing?
