Keep a tube of crazy glue in your tackle gear. Works great to seal up a cut or rip. Just need to clean it up first, and apply enough pressure for temporary clot (skin needs to be dry. Then quickly apply.

Spring to early summer is probley the best time to live bait target sailfish. Great fun, used to get covered up with sails when I would live bait kingfish for the market.
