This is the 3rd video from the Florida Keys Trip Series with Brooks Family. We went offshore in search of Mutton snapper and Grouper. We had a tough time getting ballyhoo for bait as there was no current inshore, but we all caught our personal best Mutton Snapper. I also caught a legal Black Grouper, as well as a short. This catch clean cook recipe is still my favorite and everyone who tries it loves it! Give it a try!

Why does it make you so happy to take not one but three stud breeding fish out of the ocean! These as you even stated are the Big Breeders! why not just take the black grouper and target other species such as porgy, lane snapper, yellow tail, mangroves or smaller muttons that aren't as bigger breeders? Completely baffles me and doesn't set the right example to your followers for supporting the reefs! :(

I have made this recipe twice! Once with Vermilion Snapper and once with a Jack Crevalle I caught on the beach in Destin Fl. Since you do a lot of trash fish catch and cooks, i wanted to try for myself. My wife, son, 2 daughters and I loved the Jack Crevalle. There was none left.

Man scale that head and keep it then cook it in a curry with some Jasmine Rice. Theres a lot of meat left on that head. Take the carcass, innards and skin then bait a crab trap with them. Honor and fully use that fish. Come On Man!

Great video as always Victor. Thanks for sharing all this information. If you want to add more thickness just add arrow root powder w/1/4 cup of water, it adds a sheen to the sauce like you have never seen before.

I love your show. My 3yr old little boy loves to watch you catch the fish and clean them. He even loves to see you cut open there stomach to see what the fish ate. I wonder though, do you all eat fish everyday?
