If you want some conservation advice from someone that has been working with fish for over forty years -- when handling a fish that you know you're not going to keep, don stick you hand inside the gill plates, around the gills. This is the most delicate part of the fish, even large fish, and you can damage the filaments by sticking your hands in there. If possible, leave the fish in the water when removing the hook, if not, use a net or tail them. If you gill them, even though they swim away apparently healthy, they may die later. And yes, I am a fisherman, I'm not some radical tree hugger. I just believe in conserving for the future.

the Skin can be pan fried to Crispyness after removing the scales & Coating them with spices & herbs. the Bones with the Fillet can be choped into fish-steaks & cooked to release the flavour of the bones onto the flesh. there is a significant amount of of flesh & skin left in the carcass that you threw away.

You know with that garlic press, you dont have to peel the skin off the cloves. You can put them in the press and only the actual clove will press through and the skin stays in the press.

I dont understand why you have your sinker so far from the hook, I know its to let the fish swim but seems like its too far away and a pain when trying to gaff the fish
