Enjoyable video, thanks. Next time all you can find near the surface are mini fish, try hooking a couple baits and dropping them down thirty or forty feet on heavier tackle. Big Wahoo and Mahi hang below the little fish. They are cannibals, they are also lazy. Theyre down there, you just have to get your bait down to them. If you dont have live baits, use a diamond jig or any other deep drop jig.

20 miles to catch mahi would be a dream for me. I have to go 60 miles offshore to catch mahi. And since I'm not good at trolling, it can get expensive when we get skunked. Thanks for making these videos. I feel I am learning stuff by watching you guys.

I know you guys use conventional reels, but it seems your go to gear are the spinning reels. On the west coast the exact oppisite is true. On the sport fishers it is rare to even see a spinning reel. Just wondering is it a Florida thing like my friend says?

I bet so many people were triggered within the first 15 seconds of the video because they don't understand that there is a dolphin mammal and a dolphin (mahi mahi) fish. LOL.

Whenever you run up on a dolphin(mammal) school you might as well turn Round and get your fish at capn'ds because they will run everything off in a ten Mike radius easily
